Meditation Workshop with Amanda Howard

2nd Thursday of every month from 7:30 - 8:30

We will be exploring different styles of meditation and learning the tools to promote a daily mindful practice.

Meditation will be followed by open discussion over tea. We will be exploring our inner space and observing our natural mind. Our aim is to work towards directing our focus when needed, using meditation and mindfulness to reinforce our mental and emotional wellbeing.

Partner Yoga & Intro to Acro Yoga Workshop

Sunday November 18th, 6:30 - 8:30pm 

Come explore a yogic connection through breath and movement in this Partner Yoga Practice and Intro to Acro Yoga Workshop. Yoga Instructor Greg Pember and his partner Scott will guide you through a Partner Yoga practice, exploring partner poses, heart openers, "bone stacking" and hands-on connection to encourage mental, physical and emotional release and surrender before taking flight in some fun Acro Yoga play. This practice is open to all levels of yogis. Come with a friend, a partner or by yourself and we will pair you up when you get here. Bring an open mind and an open, playful heart!

Reiki masters Greg and Scott invite you to explore The Energy Within, an introductionthe seven major chakras followed by a 90-minute Restorative yoga practice with hands-on Reiki. Deepen your practice and gain more tools to cultivate energetic balance in your own life.

Retreat to nature in a beachside jungle lodge for one full week of transformational yoga, adventure & relaxation. This retreat is an invitation to reconnect with yourself as you engage in yoga, in community, in adventure and in relaxation on the beaches & jungles of beautiful Costa Rica. Each day will include a variety of daily yoga practices to inspire self-nurture and growth, with plenty of free time to relax & explore.

This retreat will offer plenty of flexibility so that you may choose to spend your time relaxing on the beach or by the pool or engaging in the many opportunities for adventure & exploration.

The retreat is located in the Osa Peninsula; in the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. This area is known as the remote jewel of Costa Rica as it is one of the most biologically diverse places on earth and is largely comprised of protected national parks. The retreat will take place at Encanta La Vida Jungle Beach Lodge which offer a simple blend of quality service, fantastic food, beautiful accommodation and a unique location to make you feel at home. 


Encanta La Vida has 6 beautifully crafted cabinas tucked in amongst the tropical garden pathways, with a total of 9 tastefully designed rooms. Each cabina is built to be unique and equally charming. Each room has a private bathroom with hot water and an outside patio with rocking chairs and a hammock. All rooms are furnished with quality mattresses, fans and mosquito netting.


Treat your palate to three delicious, healthy and creatively designed meals a day. The chefs use the freshest local herbs, produce and fish to prepare creative menus tailored specifically to meet your dietary requirements. The kitchen will cater to vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free diets and more.


Each full day will consist of 2-3 yoga classes practiced in the beautiful open-air yoga shala overlooking the ocean. Our days will typically include an early morning gentle asana, meditation and pranayama practice, an intensive 2-3 hour class and one shorter practice. The practices will be scheduled at various times to accommodate excursion options and time to enjoy the beach & pool. We will do our best to accommodate all levels and include various types of practices to serve your needs. All classes are optional and all-levels are welcome!

Grace offers an uplifting and heart-centered practice with a strong focus on alignment & intelligent sequencing to help support safety as well as ones’ full expression of asana. She infuses her teachings with Shaiva-Tantra yoga philosophy & storytelling. Greg offers a flow-based, heart centered practice. His approach to teaching is saturated with his joyful approach to life and his deeply reflective nature. Together Grace & Greg offer a heart-felt & diverse yoga experience.

Grace Rosewarne

Grace brings an enthusiastic and heart-felt quality to her classes. Her teaching emphasizes physical alignment fused with a spiritually uplifting attitude to facilitate ones optimal state of health, harmony and joy. Her intention is to uplift and empower her students to align with their highest self that they may realize their potential to live an engaged and joyful life. Her teaching is rooted in Shaiva Tantra yoga which celebrates and affirms the sacred and dynamic beauty inherent in all of life!

Grace has been a dedicated and passionate student of yoga for over a decade. She was originally certified in Vinyasa Hatha Yoga, but has since turned her studentship toward a more therapeutic and alignment based approach to yoga asana, primarily rooted in Anusara yoga® and Ashaya yoga®. She received her Hatha Yoga certification from Michelle Cormack and an Anusara certification with Todd Norian and is a licensed Ashaya Yoga® teacher. Over the last ten years she has immersed herself in the growth of her practice and teaching through hundreds of study hours in yoga asana, therapeutics, anatomy and philosophy. She has completed her Advanced Teacher Training in the Ashaya Yoga® method with world renowned teacher Todd Norian.

Greg Pember

Originally from Vancouver, Greg has been teaching yoga for over 5 years while maintaining a career as an actor/singer/dancer throughout the U.S. and Canada. He completed his Teacher Training in Blissology yoga; an alignment-based Vinyasa style of yoga. Greg’s classes emphasize a strong connection to breath awareness while in a light-hearted and moderately paced asana flow. His intention is to help his students to joyfully evolve and challenge their practice, while offering students the tools to find a physical practice that serves their unique needs. He hopes to inspire his students to cultivate loving energy by celebrating and sharing their unique gift with the world.
